their new 25y indoor Rifle Range on Sunday 31st August 2008. Please

The meeting will be squadded, with firing points allotted on a first come first serve basis (max 6 shooters per squad).
It will be 30 shots to count with (small) prizes awarded to the winners in each
of the four classes. Full details of the competition, along with contact
details for the organisers, can be found in the flyer. For those who have not visited or shot
at the new Lord Nuffield Club Rifle
Range, there's a small selection of pictures documenting the
facilities available here

above the first thumbnail in order to view a full-size version of each picture
in turn).
LOCATION FOR THE 2009 COUNTY SUMMER MEETING
At it's last meeting, the ORA Small-Bore Committee decided
that the 2009 Summer Meeting should be held on a range in Oxfordshire. To
date, two offers to host the venue have been received, one from John and Joanna Sims of the City of Oxford
Rifle Club at Beckley and the other from Frank Slade & Co. of the Bicester Town &
District Rifle & Pistol Club at their outdoor range at Chesterton. The
actual location will be decided at the next committee meeting in
September. Please make your views known to your Club Representative and make sure
he / she attends the decision making meeting. Frank Slade has put together
a short presentation so those who have never shot at the Chesterton
Range can see what it looks like and what facilities it has to offer. The
presentation is available in Microsoft
PowerPoint 2003 format (19Mb), or as a PDF
file (9.1Mb). You will need a Broadband connection to download either
file because they are both quite big. If you do not have Microsoft
PowerPoint on your computer, you can download a special 'PowerPoint
Viewer' from the Microsoft website to view the PowerPoint file.
